Our People

Aris Theodorou founded SDENG in 2009 and serves the company as General Director. He has experience of over 20 years in heavy steel structures industry involving design, fabrication, and installation of large scale steel projects. Aris holds a degree in Civil Engineering (1996) from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and an MSc in Structural Engineering (1997) from the University of Surrey in the United Kingdom.

Vasilis Gastis is the co-founder of SDENG. He has been working in the sector of 3D modeling for the past 15 years and has unique expertise in dealing with complex structures. He serves the company as Director of Engineering. Vasilis holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (2003) from the University of Thessaly in Greece.

Giota Naka joined SDENG in 2011. She has an experience of 15 years in the sector of 3D modeling and steel fabrication drawings and serves the company as Drafting Team Leader. Giota holds a degree in Mechanical and Industrial Design Engineering (2003) from the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia, Greece and an MSc in Design of Interactive and Industrial Products & Systems (2005) from the University of the Aegean.

Dimitris Vaitsis joined SDENG in 2013. He has an experience of 15 years in the sector of 3D modeling and steel fabrication drawings. He serves the team as Drafting Team Manager. Dimitris holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (2003) from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly.

Lefteris joined SDENG in 2015 and has participated in the detailed design of various structures in the sectors of Power and Industry. He holds a MEng degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and an MSc in Analysis and Design of Energy Infrastructure from the University of Thessaly, Greece.

Vaggelis Kalyvas joined SDENG in 2017 and has participated in the design of several steel structures in the field of infrastructures and public facilities. Vaggelis holds a degree in Civil Engineering (2014) from the University of Patras, Greece and an MSc in Analysis and Design of Energy Infrastructure (2018), from the University of Thessaly.

Harris serves as a Project Leader with expertise in BIM and 3D CAD. He has several years of experience working with multinational teams and companies, in positions of responsibility. He has joined SDENG in 2017. Harris holds a Master of Engineering degree from University of Bradford and has received award for his contribution in Civil Engineering from Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Konstantinos Miamis joined SDENG in 2015 and put his background in the design of steel structures to practice by modeling and detailing numerous such structures for the company since then. He obtained his civil engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens (2003) and continued his studies at Purdue University (U.S.A.) by obtaining an MSc degree (2005) on structural engineering and a PhD (2007) on the topic of the effect of fire on steel framing.

Dimitris Voulgaris joined SDENG in 2018 and holds a degree in Civil Engineering (2015) from University of Thessaly, Greece. He serves the team as structural detailer, focused on the Oil and Gas sector.

Apostolis Papachristos joined SDENG in 2018 and holds a degree in Civil Engineering (2017) from University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He serves the team as structural detailer.
